Meet the Southern Pharmacy team!

We will periodically be spotlighting members of the SPS team! This month we start with five of our Pink Hill based pharmacists.

Candi Potter - Southern was excited to welcome Candi Potter to the team in July 2007. Candi is a "local girl" who was born in Kinston, NC. She completed her undergraduate and pharmacy school degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill. Our resident newlywed, she married Bryan Potter, a high school teacher and coach, in the summer of 2007. They have 1 cat, Palmer, and 2 dogs, Luke and Daisy. Our customers always find it interesting that we have TWO pharmacists named Candi. In the pharmacy, Candi Potter is proud to carry the title of "sweet" Candi! You'll find out more about the "sour" Candi (Candi Dawn Batchelor) in a future spotlight.

Nathalie Bentley - Born in Louvain, Belgium, Nathalie Bentley has been proud to call Goldsboro, NC home since she was in elementary school. She is married to Steve Bentley and they have five children, 2 dogs and 1 cat. After completing her undergraduate studies and pharmacy school at UNC-Chapel Hill, Nathalie practiced retail pharmacy for 13 years before joining Southern in 2006. Nathalie loves spending time with her family and shopping.

Holly Moore - Holly has been with Southern Pharmacy for four years. Originally from Wilmington, NC. Holly attended college at UNC-Wilmington and earned her pharmacy degree from Campbell University. Holly and her husband, Rex, are the proud parents of a one year old daughter, Sarah. Holly is also the proud mother of Lucy Goosey, her four-legged child.

Michael Brown - Southern Pharmacy was thrilled to welcome Michael Brown to our team in July 2007. Originally from Charlotte, NC. Michael's undergraduate degrees allowed him to study at Furman University, University of NC at Charlotte, Uniwersytet Wroclawski, and Harvard University. He received his pharmacy degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. In his free time, Michael loves outdoor activities.

Jason Strickland - For most of his youth, Jason's military family was stationed at MCAS Cherry Point in Havelock. He then attended undergraduate and pharmacy school at UNC-Chapel Hill. Jason is married to Kendal, another Southern Pharmacy pharmacist. Jason and Kendal welcomed Caroline Blythe to their family in November 2007. Jason and Kendal love to travel in their spare time and plan to visit all 50 states.
